Gain convenient remote control of your Sound Devices 688, 664, and 633 mixer/recorders and MixPre and MixPre II Series recorders through the Wingman application, which is available for iOS devices at no cost. Wingman enables users to easily access metering and timecode information on the ample screens of iOS smartphones and tablets.
The intuitive touchscreen interface offers swift remote control over fundamental 6-Series and MixPre Series features. Users can monitor meters, initiate or end audio recordings, input and adjust metadata, as well as enable/disable and rename tracks using Wingman.
Moreover, with the 6-Series, users can conveniently mark a take or designate false takes with a simple tap. Sound reports can be swiftly generated and instantly emailed directly from your iPhone or iPad.
The Sound Devices WM-Connect hardware accessory is necessary for utilizing the Wingman app with the 6-Series mixer/recorders. This accessory is not mandatory for the MixPre Series as they are equipped with built-in Bluetooth LE functionality. The WM-Connect device can be acquired separately from an authorized Sound Devices reseller.
